Has anyone else noticed that unicorns are everywhere right now? I don't get it really, but my Emma has definitely bought into the fad. She loves all things unicorn...even better if it is a purple unicorn. So we HAD to have a Unicorn Birthday Party. We had a small party with cousins, but, oh how she loved helping plan every little detail.
First up, party prep!
We spent the week before the party doing little projects to prepare. We went to the cutest shop in Laurel, MS called Hand + Made to paint some wooden signs. We made signs with paper from our water gun art day (read about that here...it was so fun!). We even made our own cake with help from a cousin...how cute are they looking over into the mixer???
By the time party day arrived, we were finally ready for some fun! Emma was gifted a HUGE unicorn sprinkler that we set up for the kiddos. We also set up a baby pool with water toys and a slip and slide. Lastly, we had a jump house...not just any jump house...a pink and purple one. That made my little 4 year old girlie so happy.
We had a fun day with our families celebrating our precious girl. She thought it was pretty great to have some of the people she loves the most in one place, and I'm trying to figure out how we can get away without a party next year. It takes a lot out of a momma to pull off a Birthday party, but I wouldn't change a thing!
